The stud was founded in 1985 By my late grandfather D. W. Havard, In 1991 I was fortunate enough to go in partnership with him, and the rest as they say is history. We are situated in the picturesque settings of the Brecon Beacons National Park, In between Brecon and Crickhowell just off the A40.

From photos I have seen I have always admired Revel Jean and where possible try to use stallions descended from her, a large number of her line seem to demonstrate typical mountain pony characteristics and type. Penual Mark is one of these ponies, although I was never fortunate enough to use the great pony himself I have been fortunate enough to use some of his sons and Grandsons, Rookery Rupert Sire: Penual Mark  Dam: Rookery Ruby by Rookery Juniper and Tiffwyl Mascot Sire: Penhasset Chessman Dam: Tiffwyl Melodi by Penual Mark (See Photo Gallery) for more pictures. This years section A foals are by Maescwm Roscoe.

Penual Mark

Sire: Revel Jeeves                         Dam: Penual Margo

In the section C's the Stallion I think displays the typical characteristics of a section C is Synod William, his name is synonymous with quality and breeding, he is the Grand sire of my section C mare Hardys Lullaby she is in foal to our own Glynwyn Kenickie he has only been shown twice, gaining 1st at Royal Bath & West and 1st, Youngstock Champion and Res. Res. Overall Section C at Royal of England. I am looking forward to this pairing as Hardys Lullaby has won the Royal Welsh her self.
