The first two days were taken up with getting the six ponies and cobs entered for the winter fair ready for the show ring, transporting them to the show, and setting up the stable area.

Transportation to Winter Fair
Nothing could have prepared me for the sight that awaited us at the show, the stables were on two levels housing well over 1500 horses and ponies, with the show ring set in the middle, to get to the first floor level there were two choices, pedestrians could either take the rather large lift or the massive wooden ramp, this is how all horses stabled on the first floor got up and down.

Horse and Pony Show Ring
Friday began with an early start, 4.30am we left the Dagenais' house for a busy day of showing, we arrived at the show at 5.30am, where the girls were already busy preparing the ponies for the day ahead. The Judge for the section A's, B's, C's and D's was Mr Geraint Davies of the Rhydd-Ddu Stud from Llanelli, Wales. Below are the results that we gained.
